Short answer

What does Route Optimizer replace? The work of a logistics planner: decide the order of stops. The Transport agent was withdrawn on 9 August 2026. Field operations now puts delivery stops for one vehicle into a shorter order, by distance only, with no arrival times.

Shows why

It shows its reasons and how sure it is on every draft. When it is not very sure, it only brings the item to your notice.

Waits for you

Nothing is filed, paid or posted until a person says so.

Gets reviewed

Every approval and correction is recorded, so you can see how well it does on your own books.

How stop ordering works now

A distributor with eight delivery vehicles. Each morning the dispatcher decides the order of stops by hand.

  1. The dispatcher lists the day's stops. Each stop needs a location. Stops without one are added at the end in the order given, not dropped.
  2. Field operations orders the stops to cut distance. It sequences them for one vehicle, by distance only.
  3. Stops it cannot place are reported. They appear in the result, so none disappears silently.
  4. The dispatcher reviews, adjusts and assigns. Nothing is sent to a driver until a person does it.

Bring tomorrow's delivery list and see the stop order.

What a person decides

Nothing is filed, paid or posted without a person. The dispatcher owns the plan.

  • Which stops go in. The dispatcher builds the list.
  • The final order. The dispatcher changes it where a customer's hours or a road demands it.
  • What it never does. It does not send a route to a driver or give a delivery time.

Ask Kinnow about this

What a dispatcher might ask.

  • "How many stops are planned for tomorrow?" Shows the stops by vehicle.
  • "Which deliveries are still unassigned?" Shows the stops that have no vehicle yet.

Tell us how many vehicles and stops you plan each day.

Works with

Ordering of stops now sits in Field operations, with Transport handling trips and freight bills. Related: the capability one system to run any field team, and stock and shipping.
