How the work should flow. Built in for your industry.
Every ready-made industry setup (we call it an industry pack) comes with its best-practice processes: the steps, who owns each one, and the hand-offs between departments. Print them as SOPs, change them for your company, and see where every live order stands.
What are Kinnow Processes? The published way the work is done in your industry: each process from start to finish, its steps, the department that owns each step, and the hand-offs between departments. Kinnow tells you which steps it enforces and which are notes for your team, watches the hand-offs, and prints any process as an SOP.
Your sector's processes, ready
A distributor opens Kinnow to 20 processes. A hotel to 21. A property company to 17. Each one says what it protects in a sentence, how many steps it has and how many departments it crosses.
Order to collection, for a distributor.
Twenty steps across Sales, the Depot and Payments. The credit check stops dispatch when credit approval is on; the hand-off to the Depot has an eight-hour clock.
What you can do with these processes
Print it or make it an SOP
Every process prints with its owner, steps and hand-offs, or becomes an SOP your team can sign off and keep.
See it by department or by role
Lanes by department for the operations review; by role for training a new joiner on exactly their part.
Change who approves a step
One click from the step. Describe the rule in plain words; a stricter rule can run as a trial first and tell you whom it would have stopped.
Your rules on top
Edit steps and notes for your company. Your changes sit on top of the published processes, so improvements we publish still reach you.
Where is this stuck?
Open a sales order or a project and see which step it is on, who holds it now, and how long it has been there.
Controls your auditor asks for
Every industry setup carries month-end close, access request to grant, master-data change approval and workflow change to live, each with its owner and record.
CA practice: 17 ready processes.
Engagement to filing
Client accepted after an independence check, the work done, the return filed and the UDIN recorded.
Obligation to filed
Every client deadline tracked from the day it arises until it is filed.
Engagement to billing
Time and milestones billed, and posted straight to your books.
Hire to productive
A new joiner assigned to engagements, with an owner on every step.
Month-end close
Twelve checks before the books shut; only the controller reopens a month.
Risk to mitigation
Engagement risks logged, owned and followed up.
Document to signed
Engagement letters and returns signed inside Kinnow.
Access request to grant
Who can see which client, approved and logged.
Workflow change to live
Change how work is approved, with a quiet trial first.
And more, each with an owner on every step and a clock on every hand-off.

Several businesses in one group?
Each company follows its own industry's processes: the hotel runs booking to settlement, the trading arm runs order to collection, and the group sees both.
About these processes
Are the steps enforced or just guidance?
Both, and Kinnow says which. A step is enforced when an approval or a limit backs it; you switch those on. Every other step is a note for your team, and is labelled as one.
Can we change a process to fit how we work?
Yes. Edit steps and notes for your company, and change who approves a step from the step itself. Your changes sit on top of the published processes, so our improvements still reach you.
Can I print a process or turn it into an SOP?
Yes. Every process has Print and Create SOP, with owners, steps and hand-offs.
What does a watched hand-off mean?
The hand-over between two departments has a time limit. When it runs late, it is flagged to the people named on the process.
What if my industry is not listed?
We set up your industry, with its processes, in about two weeks.
