What Kinnow prepares for you
The UAE edition arrives in December 2026, starting with VAT and the salary file.
| Area | What Kinnow prepares | Status |
|---|---|---|
| Indirect tax (VAT) | The groundwork for the quarterly UAE VAT return (VAT-201), built from your sales and purchase books as a file for you to submit on the tax authority portal, is completed before launch. TRN checks on invoices and parties. | From December 2026 |
| E-invoicing | Tax invoices that carry your TRN. Phased e-invoicing through the national network is planned; it needs an access point that is set up after launch. | Planned, not in the first release |
| Payroll statutory | WPS, the wage-protection salary file your bank uses to pay salaries. End-of-service benefit accrual and pension contributions for nationals are completed with early-access customers. | WPS from December 2026; the rest with early-access customers |

A year of filings
These are the dates Kinnow tracks on your calendar.
| What | How often | What Kinnow does | Who |
|---|---|---|---|
| VAT return (VAT-201) | Every quarter | Groundwork to build the return file from the books is completed before launch; the calendar shows the date | Accountant prepares, finance head reviews |
| Salary file (WPS) | Every pay run | Writes the salary file for your bank from the approved payroll | HR prepares, finance head approves |
| Corporate tax | Once a year | Keeps the date on your calendar. Ask us about corporate tax calculation | Tax adviser |
| Registrations you track | As each is due | Keeps the due date and the evidence together | Compliance owner |
Your adviser confirms the notified date for each return. Dates, rates and limits change.
How a return will be prepared
The VAT return is the example of how it will work once the groundwork is completed before launch. People approve every step. Nothing is filed, paid or posted without a person.
| Step | Who | What Kinnow does | Where a person approves |
|---|---|---|---|
| 1. Approve documents | Accounts team | Sales invoices and purchase bills are approved with their VAT treatment and TRN. | Each document has its own approval. |
| 2. Close the quarter's books | Accountant | Collects the quarter's sales and purchases from the books. | A person checks the quarter is complete before preparing. |
| 3. Prepare the return | Accountant | Fills the VAT-201 boxes: standard-rated supplies, zero-rated, exempt, imports and reverse charge, input tax. Filing Prep lists what needs a person. | The preparer submits it for review. |
| 4. Review | Finance head | Shows the figures and the boxes behind each total. | The reviewer approves or sends it back, with a reason. |
| 5. Export | Accountant | Writes the return file. | A person submits it on the tax authority portal and pays. |
| 6. Record the filing | Accountant | Keeps the acknowledgement with the return. | A person records it. |
