Request a change; get a fixed price
Describe the change you want in plain words; Kinnow scopes it, prices it and builds it for you.
LiveWhat does Change Request channel do? Custom requests become fixed-price work with a deadline and a refund promise. No surprise change orders, no stalled wish list.
How it works
You describe the change in a conversation. Kinnow writes up the scope and a plain consent document for you to sign off. If Kinnow already does it, a person checks and tells you so. You pay half up front and the rest on delivery. If the deadline is missed, your deposit comes back automatically.
Miss the agreed deadline and the deposit is refunded automatically, plus a goodwill credit while work continues. A person, not software, settles any dispute.
- The reporter's verdict has three states: fixed, still broken, or not said yet; silence is never shown as fixed, and their note appears word for word.
Step by step
Say your distribution company wants an extra approval column on purchase orders. Here is the path from idea to delivered change.
- Describe it. From the support menu, pick Ask us to build something and write what you want in plain words. A conversation helps fill in the gaps. If something is broken, use the bug route instead: Tell us what broke.
- Kinnow checks whether you already have it. Before anything is priced, Kinnow looks up its own feature list. If a strong match exists, it drafts a You can already do this note and holds your request for a person to confirm. Your request is not closed by software.
- You get a plain consent document. It has three parts: What you asked for, What will be built and What you'll be able to do. Internal build notes are not shown to you.
- You sign off, or send it back. Approve & start locks the scope. Declining sends it back to be re-scoped, and after two declines you are offered a person to talk to.
- You pay half; Kinnow builds. The deposit is invoiced when you approve, and the work is queued once it is paid. The agreed date is written on the request.
- Delivery and the last half. When the change arrives you are asked Is it fixed? If it is, the final half is invoiced. If it is not what you approved, doesn't work or doesn't solve the problem, you can raise a dispute. A person settles it.
Tell us one change you have wanted for months. We will show you the consent document it would produce.
What you see on screen

- The consent card: What you asked for, What will be built and What you'll be able to do, locked on approval, with Approve & start.
- Status badge: your request moves through states such as Your approval needed, Approved by you, Deposit pending, Approved and queued, Dispute resolved, On the roadmap and Past commitment.
- Deadline bar: a bar showing the promised delivery time and roughly how much of it has passed.
- Raise a dispute: four reasons, It doesn't match what I approved, It doesn't work, It doesn't solve my problem and Something else, plus a box for anything else we should know.
- What we fixed this week: a card on the dashboard listing changes delivered to your company.
