What does Kinnow Reach do? Campaigns, step-by-step follow-ups and audiences built from what Kinnow already knows: orders, ledgers, tickets. A consent record and a strict consent check guard every send. Qualified leads pass to Sell, and credit for sales follows the money. Nothing is filed, paid or posted without a person.
Monday morning, before and after
A distributor with 600 dealers and a three-person sales team usually markets from a contacts spreadsheet and a few WhatsApp broadcast lists. Nobody can say who agreed to be messaged, and nobody can say what a campaign brought in.
| Marketing today | Marketing on Kinnow |
|---|---|
| Someone filters the ledger in Excel to find dealers who stopped ordering, then pastes numbers into a mail tool | Describe the audience in plain words, such as dealers who have not reordered in 90 days; Kinnow builds it from orders, reorder gaps and dues it already holds |
| A WhatsApp broadcast goes to everyone in the phone, opted in or not | Consent is recorded for each channel, with service messages and marketing messages kept apart, and a message without valid consent is blocked before it leaves |
| A follow-up sequence lives in one person's head and stops when they go on leave | A follow-up routine of message, wait and next step runs every hour and stops when the person reaches the goal, such as a reply or an order |
| After Diwali, nobody can say which campaign produced the orders | Sales are credited to campaigns in five different ways side by side, with the range shown |
| Copy goes out with "guaranteed" or a missing disclaimer because nobody checked | Your brand rules are checked before copy can be approved; the check on claims you cannot back up cannot be switched off |
See how your own dealer list would be split into audiences. Ask us to show Marketing campaigns (Reach) on your ledger.
A real cycle: a reorder campaign for dormant dealers
| Step | Who | What Kinnow does | Where a person decides |
|---|---|---|---|
| 1. Pick the goal | Sales head and marketing executive | Takes a goal such as winning back dealers silent for 90 days | They choose the goal and the budget |
| 2. Build the audience | Marketing executive | Turns the plain-language brief into a list of named dealers, limited to what the user may see, and shows how many match | The executive checks the list and its size |
| 3. Draft the campaign | Marketing executive | Campaign Strategist drafts a brief from the goal and your data: lapsed buyers, gaps in the sales pipeline, seasonal patterns | The executive edits or discards the draft |
| 4. Write the messages | Marketing executive | Message templates with a fallback for every name field; if a field has no fallback and no value, that one message stops rather than going out as "Hi ," | Executive previews against a real contact |
| 5. Check the rules | Kinnow, then a reviewer | Brand rules are checked on the copy; consent and channel rules are checked on every message. A failure puts the campaign in Blocked | The reviewer fixes the copy; consent failures cannot be overridden |
| 6. Review and activate | Marketing manager | The campaign moves from Draft to Scheduled and then Active; a rule you set can require an approval first | Only a person activates it |
| 7. The journey runs | Reach | Moves each dealer through the steps every hour, respecting quiet hours on the dealer's own clock if you turn that on, and stops once a dealer reaches the goal | Pause at any time to stop new entries and everyone part-way through |
| 8. Qualify | Reach, then Sell | A dealer who responds becomes marketing-qualified and is handed to Sell | Sell accepts or rejects as sales-qualified |
| 9. Read the result | Owner and marketing manager | Funnel showing the number each rate is a percentage of; return on spend shown five ways | Owner decides whether to repeat it |

Lists, screens and reports it gives you
| Output | What it shows |
|---|---|
| Campaign calendar | What goes out on which day, with undated campaigns listed apart so a quiet month is not mistaken for an empty plan |
| Who is in this journey | For each person: step reached, what the last step actually did (sent, blocked and why, skipped), next due and status |
| Messages register | The words that actually went out after names and details were filled in, and any message blocked because a field could not be filled |
| Funnel and cohort table | Rates with the numbers behind them; people grouped by the month first contacted, to show whether they keep opening |
| Credit comparison and return on spend | Five ways of crediting sales side by side with the range; no average of them. Says why when there is no figure, such as no budget or mixed currencies |
| Delivery problems and email-domain check | Bounced and spam-reported addresses; your email domain's SPF, DKIM and DMARC settings, with the time of the check |
| Consent records and preference page | For each contact and channel; a page where people view, update or unsubscribe |
| Events list | Event names from your website, listed and unlisted, with counts, so a misspelt name shows up |
Agents that work here
Campaign Strategist
Designed to draft a campaign brief from your goal and your own data, such as gaps in your sales pipeline, customers who have gone quiet and the time of year.
ReachAudience / Segment Reasoner
Turns a brief written in plain words into a target segment, using only what the person asking is allowed to see.
ReachNurture Orchestrator
Moves each lead through the step-by-step follow-up routines you build, one step at a time, on the waits you set. It only runs routines that a person has switched on.
ReachReactivation / Winback
Finds buyers who have gone quiet, using your ledger, and drafts a message to win them back for a person to send.
ReachBrand Guardian
Checks the text of your campaign copy against your brand rules before it is approved. Copy that comes out off brand cannot be approved until it is changed.
ReachConsent & Deliverability Gate
Stops any marketing message going out unless the person has given consent for that channel, with the time recorded. If consent is missing, nothing is sent and the reason is recorded.
Each agent is checked with you before it works on your records, and everything it produces waits for a person. Also here: Attribution Engine, AI-Visibility / GEO, Send Time Profiler and outreach triggered by buying signals.
Ask Kinnow, for this area
You describe Reach audiences in words. Before anything is sent, each answer shows how many people match and where the data came from.
| You say | What you get |
|---|---|
| Dealers who have not reordered in 90 days | A named list built from orders and reorder gaps, with the count |
| Customers with dues past 60 days | A list built from receivables and dues in the ledger, with the count |
| Leads from the website form this month | Contacts captured through your Reach forms, with the form and time they came in |
| Everyone who unsubscribed or whose address bounced | The do-not-contact and bounced lists, which Reach will not send to |
| What did we send to this contact | The words that went out, or the reason a step was blocked or skipped |
Bring one list you wish you could split. We will describe it to Kinnow and show you who comes back.
Controls an owner cares about
- Every send needs consent first. A blocked message never reaches the sending service and is not charged.
- If two records for one person disagree about contact permission, merging them keeps the stricter answer. It can only narrow who you may message.
- Brand rules work in two layers: Kinnow's own rule against claims you cannot back up, which nobody can switch off, and your own words and disclaimers. Each finding says which layer raised it.
- Two limits you set: a cap per hour to protect your sending reputation, and a cap over a period to hold a budget. A held message is recorded as held, never as a consent failure.
- Campaigns, audiences and sales credit belong to the company you are working in, so one company's campaign cannot use another's contacts.
- A follow-up routine never puts someone through it a second time, and one that starts on an event begins only from the moment you switch it on, not from past history.
- Links from other software never create a contact; a message that matches nobody is refused.
Connects to
Reach writes with Compose (in Vault), sends through the channels in Serve, hands marketing-qualified leads to Sell and reports which campaigns brought in revenue to Know. Audiences read customer orders and dues from Sell and Account. Forms and landing pages bring in new contacts, and a link from a payment provider, form tool or CRM can start a follow-up routine.
Questions
Can Reach message people who have not opted in?
No. Every message passes a consent and delivery check first. The check needs a valid consent record for that channel, with a date and time, respects do-not-contact lists and limits on how often you message, and applies the strictest rule across the regions you sell into. A blocked message never reaches the sending service and is not billed. There is no override.
Is Reach a consumer marketing tool?
No. Reach markets to businesses, named buyers, leasing prospects and channel partners already in your data. It is not a consumer data platform, a loyalty scheme or anonymous mass marketing.
How does Reach decide whom to target?
You describe the audience in plain words over what Kinnow holds, for example dealers who have not reordered in 90 days, or customers with dues. The Audience Reasoner turns the brief into a list, strictly limited to what the person asking may see. It suggests audiences; it never sends.
Can we start sending on WhatsApp and SMS straight away?
Not until the setup is done. WhatsApp needs an approved business template, and SMS needs an approved template with a registered DLT sender. Live sending is switched on for your setup once those and your email domain are in place; until then Reach runs in a rehearsal mode that tests the whole route without contacting anyone.
Who sees the campaign before it goes out?
A person reviews and activates every campaign. A failed brand or consent check puts it in a Blocked state instead. A rule you set can also require an approval before a campaign sends.
What happens to a lead once Reach has warmed it up?
Reach moves a contact from new to engaged to marketing-qualified (MQL) and hands it to Sell. Sell accepts or rejects it as a sales-qualified lead. Reach does not go past that point.
How long does it take to set up?
About two weeks to first results. The longest part is usually the sending domain and the WhatsApp and SMS registrations, which sit with your providers.
