Get paid by link, reconciled automatically

Payment links with UPI QR, cards, UPI AutoPay and NACH mandates, each payment fraud-checked and matched to invoices.

Live in part
Short answer

What does Payments with auto-reconcile + fraud scoring do? Faster collections and fewer unmatched receipts, and forged payment messages can't mark an invoice paid.

How it works

Each invoice can carry a payment link with a UPI QR code. Recurring payments use UPI AutoPay or NACH mandates through Razorpay, Stripe or UPI. Every payment is checked for fraud, for example rapid repeats or unusual amounts, and the check records a recommendation for a person to act on. Payments are matched to open invoices automatically, and fake payment messages are rejected.

The detail that makes it real

A test confirms that a forged payment message changes nothing at all.

Step by step

  1. Set up how you take payments. The finance head chooses the provider (Razorpay, Stripe or Manual), enters the account details, the UPI address that receives money, and the payment methods to offer. Live mode stays off while you test, so no real money moves.
  2. Each new invoice gets a pay-now link. If you switch on automatic links, every new invoice carries a link and a UPI QR code. The customer can also copy a UPI link from the customer portal.
  3. Customers who pay regularly give a standing permission. For smaller recurring amounts a UPI AutoPay mandate is taken, for larger ones an NACH eMandate. The mandate records the per-debit cap and how often you may collect.
  4. The payment arrives and is checked. The provider's message is accepted only if its signature verifies. A message without a valid signature is refused and changes nothing. A fraud check then reads the payment.
  5. The payment is matched to open invoices. With auto-reconcile on, Kinnow hands the payment to Finance, which clears the oldest open invoices first. One entry is posted per invoice settled, and any remainder is kept as an advance.
  6. Your team looks at what is left. The transactions list shows captured, failed, refunded and pending payments. A person handles refunds and anything the fraud check flagged.

Payment links with UPI QR, cards, UPI AutoPay and NACH mandates, each payment fraud-checked and matched to invoices.

What changes for the business?

Faster collections and fewer unmatched receipts, and forged payment messages can't mark an invoice paid.

Is it available today?

It is live in part: the core is built and parts are completing with early customers.

Can a forged payment message mark an invoice as paid?

No. Messages from the provider are accepted only when their signature verifies against the secret you entered. Without a valid signature the message is refused, and a test checks that a forged message changes nothing.

What happens when a customer pays more than the invoice?

The payment clears the oldest open invoices first. Any amount left over is kept as an advance against that customer.
