AMC Renewal agent
Prepares a renewal suggestion for each of your AMC (annual maintenance contract) customers, using the same renewal routine as lease renewals.
Validated with each clientWhat does AMC Renewal replace? The work of a sales manager: preparing AMC renewals. Prepares a renewal suggestion for each of your AMC (annual maintenance contract) customers, using the same renewal routine as lease renewals.
Shows why
Every draft comes with its reasons and how sure the agent is. If it is unsure, it only offers a suggestion.
Waits for you
It does not file, pay or post anything until a person says so.
Gets reviewed
Your approvals and corrections are recorded, so you can see how well it does on your books.
A day with AMC Renewal
A typical quarter for a company that sells annual maintenance contracts (AMC) to its customers.
- A contract nears its end. Your AMC contracts sit in Leases & contracts (Pact), with the customer, current fee, yearly increase and end date. Contracts that come from a project handover or a renewed service contract arrive there as drafts for your team to complete.
- Someone asks for a suggestion. On the contract, your sales manager or contract owner asks for a renewal suggestion. The agent runs when asked, not on its own.
- The agent works out a proposal. It takes the current fee and adds the yearly increase written in the contract. If the contract has no increase, it uses a default percentage and tells you that it did. It also proposes a new end date, twelve months on by default.
- It shows its reasons. You see the fee it used, the percentage and where that percentage came from. The confidence is higher when the figure comes from the contract itself and lower when a default was used. If the proposal is below the current fee, it says so.
- Your sales manager reviews and sends. They change the fee or term if they wish, and send the renewal to the customer in the way you do today. Kinnow does not send it.
- The renewal is recorded. When the customer agrees, your team records the renewal on the contract, which moves the end date and notes whether it landed at or above the previous fee.
Example. A contract at ₹4,80,000 a year with a 7% yearly increase gives a suggested renewal fee of ₹5,13,600.

What it reads and what it hands back
| What it reads | What it hands back | Where it lands |
|---|---|---|
| The contract: customer, current fee, yearly increase, end date | Suggested renewal fee and new end date | The contract in Pact |
| A default increase, when the contract states none | A note saying the default was used, and a lower confidence | The suggestion, for your manager to adjust |
| The fee history already on the contract | A flag when the suggestion is below the current fee | The suggestion |
What a person decides
Nothing is filed, paid or posted without a person. For renewals that means:
- Your sales manager sets the fee. The suggestion is a starting point. Change it, lower it or ignore it.
- Your team records the renewal. A renewal is only recorded when someone enters it on the contract.
- You decide how to reach the customer. The agent does not email or call anyone.
- It never does these things. It does not send a quote, raise an invoice or extend a contract on its own.
Ask Kinnow about this
Ask Kinnow shows its source and cost before it runs, and says so when a question is outside the records it can read. We confirm which of these work on your data in the demo.
| You could ask | The answer shows |
|---|---|
| Which AMC contracts end in the next 90 days? | The contracts with customer, end date and current fee. |
| What is the total yearly value of AMCs due for renewal this quarter? | A total with the contracts behind it, so you can check the sum. |
| Which AMC customers renewed last year at a lower fee? | The renewals that landed below the earlier fee, with both figures. |
Bring your AMC list. We will show you what the suggestions look like on your contracts.
Works with
AMC Renewal belongs to Pact and Maintain. These pages sit closest to it:

- AMC Vendor Scorecard: the other side: scoring vendors you buy AMCs from.
- PM Scheduler: plans the preventive visits an AMC promises.
- AMC: the term, in plain words.
Questions
What does the AMC Renewal agent do?
Prepares a renewal suggestion for each of your AMC (annual maintenance contract) customers, using the same renewal routine as lease renewals.
Does AMC Renewal act on its own?
No. AMC Renewal hands back the renewal suggestions it has prepared, with its reasons, and a person approves before anything is posted, filed, sent or paid.
Does AMC Renewal learn?
Yes. Each time you approve or reject a renewal, Kinnow records it against how sure the agent said it was, so you can see how it is doing on your books. Your corrections are kept as feedback.
How is it paid for?
It is part of your agent pack, and there is no charge per user.
What if the contract has no yearly increase?
The agent applies a default percentage, says plainly that it did, and gives the suggestion a lower confidence. Your manager can overwrite it.
Is it the same as Lease Renewal?
It uses the same renewal routine, applied to AMC contracts. The inputs are the contract fee, the yearly increase and the end date.
