A day with the PM Scheduler agent
Take a plant with eighty machines, a maintenance engineer and four technicians. Preventive jobs (greasing, filter changes, calibration) fall due at different times.
- The engineer describes each job once. A PM schedule names the asset, the work, how often (every so many days or months, or after so many hours or kilometres on a meter), the first due date, and how many days early to raise it.
- Every morning at 6, Kinnow checks what is due. At 6 am in your company's time zone it raises a work order for each schedule that has come due.
- It groups the day's jobs into rounds. Jobs in the same area go together so a technician walks one area once. The "Today's rounds" panel shows how many are due and how many rounds, with stops and minutes for each.
- A schedule that is incomplete is skipped, and reported. It is not silently dropped or fired with missing details.
- The engineer assigns the work and the technician does it. Closing the work order is a person's act. The screen counts PM jobs raised, closed on time and overdue now.
Send us ten of your preventive jobs and their intervals. We will show you how the first week would look.

- "How many PM jobs closed on time last month?" Raised against closed on time.
- "What is due on the Line 2 compressor this month?" Schedules and next due dates for that asset.

Questions
What does the PM Scheduler agent do?
Raises the preventive work orders that fall due, every morning at 6 am in your company's time zone, from calendar or meter schedules, and groups them into day routes.
What schedules does PM Scheduler work from?
Calendar or meter schedules. Each day it creates the preventive work orders that are due and groups them into day routes.
Does PM Scheduler get better with use?
Kinnow measures it rather than assuming it. Each time you approve or reject, the result is recorded against how sure the agent said it was, so you can see on your own books whether its confidence can be trusted. Your corrections are kept as feedback.
How is it paid for?
It is part of your agent pack. There are no per-user seats.
When does it raise the work orders?
Every morning at 6 am in your company's time zone. You can also preview what is due and raise the jobs yourself from the PM schedules screen.
Does it plan a year ahead?
No. It raises each job when it falls due, or a few days early if you set a lead time. The list shows the next due date for each schedule.
