Contract Intelligence agent
Set up with you to compare what a contract promises with what actually happened, for example a promised 7-day delivery against an 11-day average.
Validated with each clientWhat does Contract Intelligence replace? The work of a finance manager / CA: compare contract terms with actual performance. Set up with you to compare what a contract promises with what actually happened, for example a promised 7-day delivery against an 11-day average.
Shows why
It shows its reasons and how sure it is on every draft. When it is not sure, it only brings the item to your attention.
Waits for you
Nothing is filed, paid or posted until a person approves it.
Gets reviewed
Every approval and correction is recorded, so you can see how it performs on your own books.
A day with Contract Intelligence
This agent is described here as it will work, and it is set up and checked with each client. The example is a procurement head at a manufacturer whose supplier contract promises delivery in 7 days.
- The contract terms are recorded. The delivery promise, such as 7 days, sits in the contract record in a form Kinnow can read, with the supplier it belongs to.
- Kinnow reads what actually happened. It looks at the purchase orders and goods receipts for that supplier and works out the average delivery time, for example 11 days over the last six months.
- It hands back a short comparison. One line per term: what the contract says, what happened, the gap, and the receipts behind the average so you can check them.
- You decide what to do. The procurement head raises it with the supplier, uses it in a renewal talk, or sets it aside. Nothing goes to the supplier from Kinnow.
What it reads and what it hands back
What the comparison needs, and where you would see it.
| What it reads | What it hands back | Where it lands |
|---|---|---|
| Contract terms, such as a delivery period | Whether the term is met on average | A note against the contract |
| Purchase orders and goods receipts for the supplier | The actual figures, with the documents behind them | The same note |
| Your own judgement | Your decision to act, wait or ignore | Recorded with the note |
Tell us which supplier contracts matter most. We will show the comparison on your own receipts.
What a person decides
- What is compared. You choose which contracts and which terms are worth watching.
- What happens next. A person reads the comparison and decides. It reports; it does not act.
- What it never does. It does not change a contract, hold a payment or write to a supplier. Nothing is filed, paid or posted without a person.
Ask Kinnow about contracts
Ask Kinnow answers from records you may see. Questions you might type:
- "Which supplier is slowest against its contract?" Would show suppliers ranked by the gap between promised and actual delivery.
- "When did this supplier last deliver late?" Would show the receipts, with dates, behind the answer.

Works with
Parts of this work already exist elsewhere. Commitment Tracker picks out who promised what and by when for a person to confirm, 3-way match compares the order, the goods receipt and the bill, and the capability Contract promises tracked before they are broken covers clause reading. Questions
What does the Contract Intelligence agent do?
Set up with you to compare what a contract promises with what actually happened, for example a promised 7-day delivery against an 11-day average.
Does Contract Intelligence act on its own?
No. It compares and reports. A person approves it before anything is posted, filed, sent or paid.
Does Contract Intelligence get better with use?
It will report better as more contract terms and receipts are recorded. Your approvals and corrections are kept as feedback, and we check the results with you before you rely on them.
How is it paid for?
It is part of your agent pack. There are no per-user seats.
Is this available today?
It is described as it will work and is set up and checked with each client. Related pieces, such as 3-way match and the Commitment Tracker, are described on their own pages.
What does it need from us?
Contract terms recorded in Kinnow, and purchase orders and goods receipts posted on time. The comparison is only as good as those records.
