Validated with each clientWhat does Follow-up Scheduler replace? The work of a sales executive: planning follow-ups on new leads. Suggests a next step and a due date for each lead when it is created or imported, shown on the lead and in the Leads list.
Shows why
It shows its reasons and how sure it is on every draft. When it is not sure, it only brings the item to your attention.
Waits for you
Nothing is filed, paid or posted until a person approves it.
Gets reviewed
Every approval and correction is recorded, so you can see how it performs on your own books.
A day with the Follow-up Scheduler
Take a sales manager at an industrial-supplies distributor with three sales executives and about 40 new leads a month. In the current product, the suggested follow-up comes together with the lead's score.
- A lead is created or imported. It may be typed in by a sales executive or imported from a trade-fair sheet.
- Kinnow reads the lead and suggests a next step. Along with the score, it proposes one sentence for what to do next and a date for it, such as "Call to confirm the quotation, by Thursday".
- The date is stored on the lead. The Leads list has a Next action column with the sentence and date. The lead's own page shows a box headed "What the agent suggests next", with "Due by".
- The executive does the follow-up herself. She calls or messages the lead and logs the activity. Kinnow sends nothing to the lead.
- Rules you set catch the leads that slip. If a lead sits in a stage for longer than your follow-up rule allows, an escalation is raised. Kinnow checks the rules every hour, and the rules are yours, not guesses.
- Expiring quotations get their own nudge. Each morning at 7 am in your time zone, a separate check drafts a follow-up note for leads whose quotation is about to expire. It stays a draft.
What it reads and what it hands back
What it uses and where you see it.
| What it reads | What it hands back | Where it lands |
|---|---|---|
| The lead's details and recent activity | One sentence on what to do next, and a due date | The Next action column and the lead page |
| Your follow-up rules for each stage | An escalation when a lead stays too long | An escalation for the manager to act on |
| A quotation about to expire, and the lead's recent activity | A drafted follow-up note, marked DRAFT | On the lead |

What a person decides
- Whether and when to follow up. The date is a suggestion. The executive chooses to follow it, move it or ignore it.
- The rules. The manager sets the follow-up rules for each stage and whether an escalation is raised when a rule is broken.
- What it never does. It does not contact a lead, move a stage or change an owner. If a suggested date cannot be read as a date, Kinnow drops the date and keeps the sentence. Nothing is filed, paid or posted without a person.
Ask Kinnow about follow-ups
Ask Kinnow answers from the records you may see. Questions a sales manager might type:
- "Which follow-ups are due today?" Lists leads whose suggested date is today or earlier.
- "Which leads have had no activity for a week?" Lists them with their owner and last activity.
- "Which quotations expire this week, and who has followed up?" Lists the quotations with the latest activity on each.
Ask us to show your open leads with suggested dates, and compare them with what your team planned.

Questions
What does the Follow-up Scheduler agent do?
Suggests a next step and a due date for each lead when it is created or imported, shown on the lead and in the Leads list.
Does Follow-up Scheduler contact my leads?
No. It proposes the timing and shows it on the lead. A person approves it before anything is posted, filed, sent or paid.
Does Follow-up Scheduler get better with use?
Your approvals and corrections on suggestions are kept as feedback. The suggested step is based on the lead and on a sample of your own won and lost deals, so it follows your sales history as that grows.
How is it paid for?
It is part of your agent pack. There are no per-user seats.
Where do I see the suggested follow-ups?
In the Leads list, in the Next action column with its date, on each lead's page under "What the agent suggests next", and on the cards of the pipeline view.
How is this different from the follow-up rules?
The rules are yours: they say how long a lead may stay in a stage before an escalation. The suggestion is a proposed next step and date for one lead.
