Outreach triggered by what your books show
Kinnow picks customers who went quiet, slipped or owe money and drafts a message for each, for a person to approve.
Live in partWhat does Signal-driven outbound do? Turn what your books already know into a ready list of people worth contacting, without a marketer building lists.
How it works
Each time the sweep runs, Kinnow looks at signs in your books, such as time since the last order, amount owed, account health and recent contact. It picks customers who have gone quiet, are at risk or are overdue, and keeps the minimum gap between contacts. It drafts a message for each person from a fixed template, checks each draft for problems and puts the batch in a queue for a person to approve. Live sending is in pilot.
Nothing sends automatically: drafts go into a batch a person approves, and contact-frequency limits always win over new signals.
Step by step: how the list is built
- Kinnow reads the signs in your books. For each customer it looks at days since the last order, whether money is outstanding, an account health score, and how many times you have contacted them recently.
- It picks who needs a nudge. A customer is picked when there has been no order for 30 days or more, when the health score is below 0.5, or when money is outstanding. These are the starting values.
- Recent contact wins. If a customer has already been contacted three times in the recent window, they are skipped for this round, even if they match a sign. Over-contacting is treated as worse than missing a night.
- A message is drafted for each person. The draft is written with the sign that picked them in mind, such as a long gap since the last order. Each draft is checked for problems before it joins the batch.
- A person approves the batch. Your sales or marketing head reads the drafts and approves, edits or drops them. Nothing is sent without that approval, and consent rules apply at the time of sending.
- Sending. Approved messages go out only on a channel the customer has agreed to. Live sending on email, WhatsApp and SMS is in pilot.

What is built today, and what is not
This page describes a feature that is partly built, so here is the line plainly.
| Part | Where it stands |
|---|---|
| The picking rule | Built. The 30-day, health-score and outstanding rules, and the contact-frequency cooldown, are in the product. |
| Audiences by account signs | Built. You can build an audience from "no order in N days", outstanding balance, health score and risk flags, and recompute it on the Audiences screen. |
| Drafting and approval batch | Built as a sweep that ends in a batch for a person to approve. Running it every night is set up with you. The drafting today follows a fixed template, and does not use an AI model for the wording. |
| Live sending | In pilot. Until a channel is connected with its provider credentials, nothing leaves Kinnow. |
We would rather tell you that now than have you find out on a pilot call.
What you see on screen
- Audiences: a list with each audience's name, how many members it has and when it was last computed, plus a Recompute button. The "New audience" form builds the segment from your orders, finance and customer health.
- Contacts and Journeys screens: who can be reached, and where each person is in a routine, including whether the last step was sent, blocked or skipped for want of consent.
Who uses it
- The sales head reviews each batch and decides what goes out.
- The marketing lead builds and recomputes the audiences.
