Gets better every week · Generative Exception Sweep

Every number you track, watched for surprises

Once a measure is approved, the sweep checks it for unusual moves in every part of the business whenever an administrator runs it.

Live
Short answer

What does Generative Exception Sweep do? Coverage follows the measures you approve, instead of a fixed list of nine measures.

How it works

When an administrator or analytics steward runs the sweep, Kinnow checks each approved measure across every part of the business, such as branch, product group or customer segment. It learns the normal weekly pattern for each part and flags unusual moves in an alerts list. Coverage grows as you approve new measures. Each run reports what it skipped rather than hiding it.

The detail that makes it real

Widens the older fixed set of nine watched measures to every approved measure and every part of the business.

Step by step

  1. Your company approves a measure. A measure is a number with an agreed meaning, such as weekly sales, or purchase value. Drafts are left out.
  2. An administrator runs the sweep, and it checks the measure across every approved cut. For each measure, it looks at each approved way of slicing the business: branch, product group, customer segment and so on.
  3. It learns what normal looks like. For every slice it builds the usual weekly pattern from previous weeks.
  4. It tests the latest week against that pattern. A slice that moves far outside its own usual range is flagged. The check is plain statistics, with no AI model involved.
  5. Flags land in the Anomalies list. They are ranked by severity, with the probable cause and what is affected.
  6. A person reviews and resolves. You add a note when you resolve one, so the list shows what has been looked at.

Ask us to run the sweep on one measure from your own data.
