AI credits
What are AI credits? Kinnow's way of counting AI work. Agents and Ask Kinnow use the credits in your agent pack, and the credits refresh every month. There are no user seats, and Ask tells you what a question will cost before it runs.
In plain words
Credits are how Kinnow counts the AI work done for you. When an agent drafts reminders or Ask Kinnow answers a question from your records, that work uses credits from your agent pack. Applications carry no licence fee, and there is no fee per user.
A worked example
One company has 12 people across accounts and sales, another has 40. Neither pays for seats. In both, the finance head types: "Which customers owe us more than 60 days?"
| Step | What happens |
|---|---|
| 1 | Ask shows what the question is expected to cost in credits, and the most it can use. |
| 2 | She confirms, and the answer comes back with its source. |
| 3 | The credits used come out of the pack, within the limit shown. |
| 4 | What changes between the two companies is how much AI work they ask for, not how many people log in. |
Pack sizes are agreed with you, so no figures are shown here.
Why it matters
- Cost. You see the cost of a question before you run it, and you are not charged per user.
- Control. Your administrator can set monthly spending limits for the whole company, a role, one person or one company in a group. They are off until you switch them on.
- Risk. Kinnow warns you when most of your allotment is spent, so AI work does not stop without notice.
Ask us how credits would be used for the jobs you have in mind.

How Kinnow handles it
Agents and Ask Kinnow draw on the credits in your agent pack. The limits and warnings are set under Admin, in the controls and AI settings.
How pricing works explains the agent pack. This page does not state a pack size or a rate, because both are agreed with Kinnow.
Credits count AI work only. They are not a licence and they do not limit how many people can use Kinnow.
