Conversations filed on what they're about

Chat, email and meetings attach to the customer, order or invoice, so the record remembers what was agreed.

Live in part
Short answer

What does Kinnow Channels (Talk · Mail · Meet) do? Customer context stops living in personal inboxes; when someone leaves or a deal escalates, the history is already there.

How it works

Chats attach to a record or to a topic. Email stays private until you file it, and Kinnow keeps only headers and fetches the message text only when you open it, suggesting where to file from your last choice for that sender. Meetings build agendas automatically and show who hasn't replied. Each record shows agreements, conversations, visits and meetings together.

The detail that makes it real

Your mail stays private to your mailbox until you file it on a record or topic, and filing asks you to confirm.

Step by step

Imagine a sales head, an accounts executive and an owner who all deal with the same customer. Here is how their conversations end up on one record.

  1. Start from the record. On an order, invoice or customer, pick Discuss. The conversation is about that record, so it appears there for everyone allowed to see the record.
  2. Talk. People write messages. A reader can press Got it so the writer knows it was seen. Someone presses Mark as agreed on the message that says what was settled, and that line is shown above the discussion. If nothing was settled, Mark as done asks for the reason.
  3. Mail. When you connect your mailbox, Kinnow keeps the headers (sender, subject and time) and fetches the message text only when you open the mail. A mail stays private to your mailbox until you file it on a record or a topic. Filing is a one-way share, and Kinnow asks you to confirm. It suggests a place from your last choice for that sender.
  4. Meet. Book a meeting from a record. The agenda comes from the record, replies are tracked, and the meeting sits under Coming up, Done or No reply yet. Afterwards, note what was agreed.
  5. Visit. A salesperson logs a visit. It saves even with no record chosen, and waits as Only you until it is placed on a customer or order.
  6. One day, one list. A single page shows what is ahead, what has landed and what is still out, with the unanswered ones ranked by how long they have been quiet. On any record, a panel shows what was agreed, who knows, and every conversation about it.

What you see on screen

You will use Talk, Mail and Meet as three views in the same workspace.

  • Conversations: a list with search, an Unread marker and a link to Topics. The note Nothing agreed yet, 4 turns in appears on long threads.
  • A conversation: messages with actions Got it, Edit, Copy text, Quote and Mark as agreed, an Open link to the record, and labels such as edited and Original.
  • Meet: tabs for Coming up, Done and No reply yet; each meeting shows an agenda, a Join button, how many said yes (for example 3 of 4), and notes.
  • Mail: your threads with a suggested place, and rules that file mail onto a record for you.
  • On a record: What the organisation knows, with Agreed, Rules in force, Pattern, Who knows and Conversations, each with exact counts.
