Monday-morning business briefing on WhatsApp
Every Monday at 7am the people your company has chosen to receive notifications get the week's numbers, alerts, trends and surprises by email and, where WhatsApp is connected, on WhatsApp.
LiveWhat does Executive Digest do? Leadership stays on top of the business without logging in; exceptions come to them.
How it works
The briefing follows your own time zone and financial year. It covers four things: the week in numbers (revenue against target, gross margin, collections, top customers), alerts that need action (stock-outs, overdue payments, compliance deadlines), monthly and yearly trends, and anything unusual. It arrives by email and WhatsApp.
Runs on your own time zone and financial year, not ours, and is also available whenever you ask.
Step by step
- Kinnow adds up the week. On Monday at 7 am, on your own company's clock, Kinnow totals the last seven days from your books. The figures are added up by Kinnow's own calculations, not by the writing model, so the numbers are not made up.
- It looks for what needs action. Stock-outs, overdue collections and compliance deadlines are collected into one list.
- It compares with earlier periods. Key measures are set against the previous month and the same month last year, with a line explaining the move.
- It notes anything unusual. Anything out of pattern this week is listed with a probable cause.
- It writes a short briefing and sends it. The narrative goes by email and WhatsApp to the people your company has chosen to receive notifications. The WhatsApp version is cut at the end of a sentence if it is long, and points back to the full digest in Kinnow.
- You open the full digest when you want more. The Executive Digest screen keeps the week's numbers, alerts, trends and anomalies, and earlier digests. You can also generate one at any time.
