Run companies in several countries, correctly
One system with seven country setups for tax IDs, tax types, e-invoicing and payroll, refusing rather than guessing.
Live in partWhat does Jurisdiction packs do? Run group companies across India, the Gulf, Singapore, the UK and North America on one system, with local rules done right.
How it works
Each country's rules sit in their own setup: India, UAE, Saudi Arabia, Singapore, the UK, the US and Canada. Each brings its registration types, local terms, tax rules and payroll rules. Kinnow checks that a supplier's stated tax matches what it should be. If required statutory details are missing, payroll stops for that person.
Singapore payroll once quietly assumed 'age 30, eligible' when details were missing; now it refuses and names each skipped person with the reason.
- Where a country setup cannot yet answer, Kinnow refuses with a named reason, never an empty list or a made-up value.
Step by step
- Each company is set up in its own country. When you add a company, you choose its country. That choice decides the currency, the name of the tax registration number (GSTIN in India, TRN in the UAE, GST Registration Number in Singapore, EIN in the US, Business Number in Canada) and the tax system.
- Tax rules follow the company. Invoices and bills use that country's tax type. Kinnow checks that the tax a supplier states fits what it should be for that country.
- Returns are prepared per country. On the Tax Returns screen the preparer picks the country, the return type (for example GSTR-3B or VAT-201) and the period, and Kinnow prepares the figures and the file.
- Payroll follows local rules. Each setup carries its own payroll rules. If a statutory detail is missing for a person, such as date of birth or residency status in Singapore, payroll stops for that person and says why. It does not invent a value.
- Where a country cannot answer, it says so. A thing the setup cannot do yet comes back as a refusal with a named reason, never as an empty list or a zero.
- A person files. Kinnow prepares the return. Your accountant checks it and files it with the authority.
